General Mills greeted the summer with a companywide new product blitz involving as many as 150 new offerings in the United States and worldwide. Included among them are Chex Gluten Free Oatmeals in three flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Maple Brown Sugar and Original.
While battered and breaded products historically have carried the onus of a bad rap nutritionally, new ingredients and processing strategies are helping to create better choices.
