Glanbia Nutritionals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia plc, announced that it has agreed to acquire Foodarom, a Canadian-based custom flavor designer and manufacturer servicing the food, beverage and nutritional product industries with turn-key flavors and formulation support. Foodarom comprises a flavor library of over 15,000 recipes and produces both liquid and powder products for various applications.

US adult participation in total diet or nutrition programs dropped from 48.3% in April 2019 to 43.8% in April 2020, while participation in the keto and other specialty diets remained unchanged in April from a year ago, according to NPD’s Health Aspirations & Behavioral Tracking Service.
