A&B Ingredients announced the appointment of Joe O’Neill as the company’s new Vice President of Sales & Business Development. In his new position, Joe will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day sales efforts of its specialty ingredients line of products including pea proteins, antimicrobials, antioxidants, shelf life extenders, probiotics and low sodium sea salts, as well as coordinating the strategies for A&B future growth. O'Neill will be working at the company’s headquarters in Fairfield, NJ, he will report to and work in tandem with Mr. Gil Bakal, Managing Director.
In making the announcement, A&B Ingredients’ Managing Director, Gil Bakal, said, “I am extremely pleased to welcome Joe O’Neill to A&B Ingredients. Throughout his career, Joe has exhibited the knowledge and professionalism that can only assist us as we continue to move forward with our present and future product offerings. Prior to joining A&B Ingredients Joe was employed by Beneo Inc. A 16-year veteran of the company, he most recently served as President & General Manager for Beneo Inc. responsible for a number of key product lines for the Americas and an instrumental part of their success in the North American markets.
Other experience includes various sales and marketing management positions with such companies as Kerry Ingredients, FMC and Bunge Foods.

Joe received his MS in Biotechnology from Dublin City University and is BS in Biochemistry from University College Dublin. Married with two children, Joe is a resident of Chester, NJ.
