Dianne's Fine Desserts, a provider of gourmet frozen thaw-and-serve desserts for the foodservice industry, announced its acquisition of retail desserts creator Daystar Desserts of Ashland, VA.
Acknowledged leaders in the foodservice and retail sectors, the partnering of Dianne's Fine Desserts with Daystar Desserts will provide a full complement of products, services, technology, innovation and distribution for its customers.

Daystar Desserts is the creator of the World's Best Cheesecake as well as various private label in-store bakery desserts. Founded seventeen years ago by culinary chef John Fernandez in his mother's kitchen, daily production for Daystar Desserts has grown from fifteen to 15,000 cakes a day. The Company which operates under kosher supervision, has an SQF Level 2 rating and has won numerous awards and recognition, including the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique de New York.
