Florentine Hilty-Vancura, PhD, is a nutrition and food science research chemist and specialist in nutraceutical and functional ingredients and their applications in food and beverage formulations. Her areas of expertise include experimental design and nanoparticle engineering, with emphasis in designing and testing nanostructured compounds for nutritional applications. A recipient of the Nestlé Nutrition Award, Switzerland, as well as the ETH Medal for outstanding PhD thesis, she is the author of multiple scientific papers and articles.
