WhiteWave Foods Co. said it's buying Wallaby Yogurt Company Inc. for about $125 million.
Wallaby was founded in 1994 and is based in American Canyon, California. It makes and distributes organic dairy yogurt products.
Eli’s Cheesecake of Chicago celebrated National Cheesecake Day (July 30) in tandem with its own 35 anniversary by showcasing one of its newest products, a birthday cake cheesecake called Eli’s Dippers.

DairyChem Laboratories, Inc. announced its purchase of the formulas used to produce Ziegler dairy coagulators from DuPont Nutrition & Health. The purchase is limited to the product formulas and DairyChem will offer direct replacement products under its own brand. The purchase does not include the Ziegler trademark and the price has not been disclosed.

Millennials, more than any other age group, say ice cream is their favorite summer food. Americans are more than twice as likely to name ice cream (65%) over pie (27%). And sweet, creamy ice cream treats hit the spot for more Americans than summer's savory standbys of burgers (63%), hot dogs/brats (52%) and ribs (45%).

For nearly a decade, siggi's Icelandic-style yogurt (called skyr) has steadily earned fans nationwide for its creamy flavor, simple ingredients and not a lot of sugar.
The yogurt flavor, winner of the Light & Fit flavor contest, is the newest variety to be added to company's Light & Fit Greek yogurt line.
