Elmhurst 1925 launched its newest innovation, a line of dairy-free Cashew Creamers. Elmhurst’s Cashew Creamers are plant-based creamers that use cashew as a base, and are available in four varieties: Sweet Cream, Cinnamon Churro, Caramel Brûlée and Unsweetened. Like all Elmhurst products, they contain minimal ingredients and are free from gums, oils and added fillers.

Made with real whole cashews, Elmhurst’s Cashew Creamers are naturally smooth and velvety, with a rich consistency that performs in hot or iced coffee or tea. Each variety contains as few as five simple ingredients, no more than 1g of sugar and 15 calories per serving, and is free from any artificial sweeteners, unnecessary additives or whitening agents.

Elmhurst created these Cashew Creamers with a blend of buttery cashews, gluten-free oats, and pectin -- a natural dietary fiber found in fruits and vegetables which helps prevent separation in coffee by protecting the proteins found in their wholefood ingredients.

“So many creamers contain unnecessary, gums, oils, fillers and high sugar. We wanted to provide consumers with the cleanest, creamiest, and most nutritious plant-based creamers for coffee. Consumers have long enjoyed using our buttery cashewmilk in their coffee, so expanding on our existing Oat Creamer collection with this new Cashew Creamer line was a natural fit. We’re extremely proud to produce clean and delicious products that stand the test of time, and we have no doubt these amazing Cashew Creamers will become a fast fan favorite, thanks to their rich and creamy texture and unique flavor varieties.” --  Heba Mahmoud, senior director of brand innovation, Elmhurst

Varieties include:

- Sweet Cream: With notes of vanilla sweet cream, this variety is a way to enjoy a sweet cream cold brew at home, even as it froths up into a cold foam. Only 1g sugar and 15 calories per serving.
- Cinnamon Churro: Notes of warm cinnamon sugar and buttery baked churro make this an option for those who take their coffee with a splash of flavor. Only 1g sugar and 15 calories per serving.
- Caramel Brulée: Notes of toasted caramel and crème brûlée complement many roasts and blends, hot or iced. Only 1g sugar and 15 calories per serving.
- Unsweetened: Beyond coffee, this staple is the plant-based creamer to have on hand for any pasta, casserole, or cream-based recipe. Its nutrition content contains zero sugar, 10 calories and made from only five simple ingredients.

All of Elmhurst’s Cashew Creamer varieties are packaged in 750ml shelf-stable cartons, offering consumers a larger alternative to the brand’s existing Oat Creamer line.

Like all Elmhurst products, the Cashew Creamers are Non-GMO Product Verified, gluten-free, dairy-free, OU Kosher, vegan, and crafted through the company’s unique HydroRelease™ method. Using just water, this process separates the nutritional components of a nut, grain or seed before reassembling them as a creamy plant milk, maintaining the full nutrition of the source ingredient without added gums or emulsifiers. HydroRelease™ upcycles any waste into energy and is powered by 100% renewable Hydroelectric Power to drive sustainability every step of the way.

As a part of Elmhurst’s ongoing recycling program, currently saving approximately 10,000 mature trees annually, all cartons are 100% recyclable and made from FSC-certified paperboard. The brand transitioned from plastic to paper-based shipping materials for direct-to-consumer orders and uses primarily PCR materials for molded fiberboard trays and scrap corrugate as protective filler.
