Muesli Fusion Inc., Westford, Mass., expanded its GUUD muesli cereal line with three functional varieties—for energy, gut health and brain health.
“At GUUD, it’s our mission to bring more flavor and more function to the cereal aisle. We are changing cereal for the GUUD. Our functional line of cereal delivers great tasting, whole food nutrition without the sugar,” said GUUD CEO Jean Lizotte.
Athlete Fuel is high in protein (8g) and fiber (6g) with no added sugar. It blends organic oats, organic raisins, organic almonds, organic flax seed, organic cashews, and organic pumpkin seeds.
Brain Fuel contains antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin A. With 8g of protein and 6g of fiber, this gluten free muesli features certified gluten-free oats, walnuts, cranberries, goji berries, blueberries, and cacao nibs.
New Gut Fuel is considered an excellent source of soluble fiber, omega-3s, and prebiotic superfoods, It’s a blend of organic oats, organic dates, organic sunflower seeds, organic flax seeds, organic banana, organic apples, organic chia seeds, and organic almonds.
GUUD’s functional muesli (SRP $6.99/bag) is currently rolling out in natural and traditional grocery stores, and online retailers nationwide. All items are vegan, plant-based, non-GMO-certified and kosher.

Snacks Generation, Miami, used Sweets & Snacks Expo to showcase its NuTrail keto nut granola line with a new Birthday Cake variety.
Officials say the item features pecans, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, almonds, butter, sugar-free sprinkles, whey protein and monk fruit sweetener. Each serving contains 4g protein, 14g healthy fats and 3g net carbs—all with no added sugar.
Additional Nut Granola flavors include Blueberry Cinnamon, Vanilla Strawberry, Vanilla Raspberry, Vanilla Blueberry, Cacao, and Cinnamon Pecan.
Birthday Cake flavor debuted exclusively at Sam’s Club in January with a 22oz bag retailing for $12.78. The other flavors come in 11oz bags for $11.99 and are available at retailers nationwide including Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Sprouts and Rite Aid.

Having debuted with functional shakes, Uplifting Results Labs Inc. (dba “Muniq”), Los Angeles has extended its line with an Empowerfull Prebiotic Fiber Blend and Muniq Balanced Nutritional Bars. Officials say both line provide convenient solutions to increased fiber intake in on-the-go formats.
Muniq Balanced Nutritional Bars come in three flavors: Chocolate Brownie, Peanut Butter Chocolate & Strawberry Almond. The bars are low in net carbs and deliver 10g of fiber. Glenda’s Farmhouse, Vina, Calif., used Natural Products Expo West to introduce Glenda’s Farmhouse Walnut Crumbles as a better-for-you meat substitutes. Officials say new Original Savory, Mexican-Inspired, and Asian-Inspired flavors support a wide range of at-home meal options.

Glenda’s Walnut Crumbles can be prepared in minutes on the stovetop or microwave and simply require adding water prior to preparation. One package provides up to eight servings at 160 calories per serving. Each flavor is low in fat, sodium, and carbohydrates and has 0 milligrams of cholesterol. Primary ingredients include organic chopped walnuts and sunflower oil along with other natural ingredients such as dried mushrooms, chili pepper, pinto bean flakes, and other seasonings (depending on the flavor variety).
Rocky Road—As a Protein Bar
ONE Brands LLC, Charlotte, N.C., extended its protein bar line with a limited-time ice cream flavor: Rocky Road.

Officials say ONE's Limited Edition Rocky Road flavored bars feature a “smooth chocolate ice cream” center filled with almonds and marshmallow flavored bits.
