Real Food Bar launched a real food nutrition bar with a mission to create plant-based, highly nutritious, vegetarian bars that are more than just a snack. Real Food Bar is like getting a mini meal, multi-vitamin and protein bar wrapped into a bar.

The husband and wife pair began creating their own granola bars in their home kitchen out of frustration with products on the market that were either high in sugar or lacking in essential nutrients.

“With our active lifestyle, too many days were spent consuming snack bars that were dissatisfying or even worse, actually unhealthy,” said co-founder, Anna Sullivan.

In 2016, they set out to create a protein bar that could be a meal replacement, providing nutrients from all essential food groups in a perfectly balanced macronutrient profile. They are now excited to announce a full product line of plant-based nutrition bars made from real food.

“We created a nutrition bar that you can eat if you skip a meal and still feel good about it because you know the bar had all the essential food groups in it,” added Sean Sullivan.

All Real Food Bars contain fruit, vegetables, gluten free quinoa and plant-based protein. The main protein source come from peas in order to avoid meat, egg or whey-based protein to avoid allergies or digestive issues. Each of the three flavors has 15g of protein, 9-10g of fiber and only 10g of natural sugar from organic clover honey. The nutrition bars have natural prebiotics, easily digested ingredients and slow release carbs for excellent satiety.

Real Food Bars are available in three flavors - Cacao Sea Salt, Cherry Cashew and Peanut Butter in 12-pack boxes or variety packs on its website.
