Houlihan Lokey announced the pending sale of Quorn Foods, a portfolio company of Exponent Private Equity, to Monde Nissin for £550 million. The transaction is expected to close by October 30, 2015.
Quorn, headquartered in Stokesley in the United Kingdom, is an international meat alternatives business with a market leading position in 15 countries. The company's sales in 2014 were £150.3 million.
Monde Nissin, a leading branded consumer goods company based in the Philippines, is building a global branded food business focused on health and sustainability. Exponent is a private equity firm investing in UK-headquartered businesses with enterprise values between £75 million and £350 million from their third fund of £1 billion raised in 2015. Exponent is based in London.
