Prinova, a supplier of high-quality ingredients, flavors and value-added nutrient fortification products, has hired Bill Karpen in a newly created position of Innovation Director. His primary responsibility will be the development of a brand new Innovation Center at Prinova’s Corporate Headquarters in Carol Stream, IL. The Innovation Center will focus on development of food products, applications and systems.
“I am pleased to announce that Bill Karpen has joined Prinova as our new Innovation Director”, said David Doyle, Chief Operating Officer, Prinova. “This is a very exciting step forward in our growth as a company,” said Doyle.
Karpen holds a BS in Foods Science from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana. He joins Prinova with over 35 years of hands-on experience in food R&D and applications with Cargill, Consolidated Biscuit, Champlain Industries, IFF and Florasynth.
Prinova’s new Innovation Center is scheduled to open in May 2015. More information will be announced soon
