Kill Cliff Inc., Atlanta, has introduced KC Bar, a new line of protein bars to complement the company's flagship recovery drink portfolio.
As the company continues to expand its national distribution footprint for Kill Cliff Recovery Drink, the addition of KC Bar positions Kill Cliff to increase points of availability per retail outlet for the brand among other strategic interests.
"The success of the drink has been tremendously rewarding, and we will remain front-side focused," says Kill Cliff founder and CEO Todd Ehrlich. "At the same time, it has always been my intention to out-maneuver the stiff competition we face in the marketplace with a premium protein bar to complement our premium recovery drink. This is a big day for us, and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our company and the Kill Cliff brand."
The KC Bar line includes four initial flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie, Salted Caramel & Almond, Strawberries & Cream and Mocha Almond Brownie. Each flavor will contain 20-21g of protein, 13-16g of fiber and 2-4 net carbohydrates—all key macronutrients that aid in recovery from strenuous activity. As with the recovery drinks, the KC Bar line contains no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, no sugar added, and is gluten-free.
KC Bar launched initially at www.KillCliff.com and is expanding to select retail stores nationwide.
