Oregon Seafoods LLC, Coos Bay, Ore., used the National Restaurant Show to showcase new Sea Fare Pacific soups and sauces for foodservice distribution. Soups include Seafood Bisque, Smoked Salmon Chowder and a West Coast Cioppino. Developed in Oregon State University’s Seafood Lab, each product contains wild-caught seafood with gluten-free and non-GMO ingredients. Oregon Seafoods’ Seafood Bisque was a sofi Award finalist for 2013 Outstanding Product of the Year. Officials say the Seafood Bisque “has outstanding flavor as well as health benefits,” with each serving containing 8g of protein and heart-healthy omega-3s from sustainably sourced Pacific Pink Shrimp, Alaskan salmon and sea clams. Sea Fare Pacific soups come packaged in easy-open, BPA-free, 4lb foodservice pouches with a three-year shelf life. All processing and packaging takes place on the Oregon Coast in Coos Bay.
