October 29/Omaha, Neb. -- Orville Redenbacher’s Gourmet Popcorn, a brand of ConAgra Foods Inc., has a new fall offering for snackers or party hosts in search of a guilt-free option -- Gourmet Naturals microwave popcorn. Available in Orville Redenbacher’s Pop Up Bowl, Gourmet Naturals pop up light and fluffy and come in four flavors, each with half the fat of regular microwave butter popcorn, all in a 100% whole grain snack.
“A great tasting snack shouldn’t leave you feeling guilty,” said Daniel Marple, vice president and general manager for Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn. “Our new Gourmet Naturals microwave popcorn line is the perfect combination of a satisfying taste with a snack that’s smarter for you.”
The four new Gourmet Naturals varieties include:
- Classic Butter and Sea Salt
- Garlic Butter and Sea Salt
- Zesty Pepper Butter, a combination of roasted red peppers, a touch of seasonings & sea salt
- Simply Salted with a pinch of salt
Gourmet Naturals also is a 100% whole grain, gluten-free snack. Each serving has 0g of trans fats and 50% less fat than regular butter microwave popcorn.
Orville Redenbacher’s Gourmet Naturals come in Orville Redenbacher’s microwave Pop Up Bowl. Gourmet Naturals are now available at grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.99 (three Pop Up Bowls per package). As popped, one cup of Orville Redenbacher’s Gourmet Naturals microwave popcorn provides 1g of total fat. As popped, Orville Redenbacher’s Butter microwave popcorn provides 2g of total fat.
