Beverages may have borne some of the recent brunt of obesity concerns, but alternative sweeteners allow consumers to manage their weight while enjoying something similar to their favorite drinks. Some emerging drinks are taking a proactive approach to health and wellness.

The FRS Company has introduced two such beverages: Healthy Slim and Healthy Defense, the former to support weight loss, the latter to support the immune system. Healthy Slim, the company notes, features a natural vegetable protein that signals fullness to the brain—plus fiber, the antioxidant quercetin and seven vitamins. Healthy Defense, meanwhile, promises to balance the immune system and strengthen immune resistance. pf
