CHS is the first sunflower processor to offer the industry-leading Log5 pasteurization technology. This allows CHS to provide a full line of processing services – oil roasted, dry roasted and pasteurized products – to its food company and ingredients customers.
Red River Commodities (RRC) says a wide range of food processors are expressing interest in SunButter, an industrial sunflower butter. Because of substantial growth in peanut allergies, more manufacturers are creating peanut-free products using SunButter, which provides a similar taste, texture and performance to peanut butter, says RRC.
