Chosen Foods, a producer of 100% pure avocado oil and creator of avocado-inspired kitchen staples including cooking sprays, mayos, dressings and simmer sauces, launched its first ever refrigerated products - a collection of four new guacamole and salsa items.

NatureSeal prevents browning of guacamole for up to five days after opening (when refrigerated) and also prevents browning of fresh-cut sliced avocado. 

Stemming from a desire to bring all of the goodness and flavor of WHOLLY GUACAMOLE® products to a more portable package, these portioned Snack Cups are available in two varieties—Classic (Mild) and Spicy (Hot)—and conveniently paired with just the right amount of crunchy tortilla rounds.

MegaMex Foods LLC, a joint venture between Hormel Foods Corporation HRL and Herdez Del Fuerte, S.A. de C.V., announced the closing of an agreement to acquire 100% of Fresherized Foods.

Burger King will introduce healthy options on its menu on Monday through the launch of the California Whopper. The new offering is made of guacamole, which is a dip made of mashed ripe avocado, white onion, lime juice and seasoning.
