Hot sauces and chile-based sauces are a staple on menus and in retail products. And the popularity of spicy flavors will continue, with more than three-quarters of consumers (78%) saying they enjoy at least moderately spicy foods, according to Technomic’s latest Flavor Consumer Trend Report.
