Anibal Concha-Meyer, PhD, is a fruit and vegetable product development scientist and the Research Coordinator of the New Product Development Program at the Centro de Estudios en Alimentos Procesados (CEAP) in Talca, Chile. His primary areas of research are food and beverage product creation, food safety and food microbiology. He currently conducts research in the generation of new, value-added fruits and fruit- and vegetable-based products for the development of the agribusiness in the Maule Region in Chile.
