As part of the new management structure, Serventi will oversee the business globally in his new role as CEO. Bisterzo will continue to be actively involved in the business as the Chairman and Founder overseeing brand marketing, innovation and the company’s charitable work.  

The agreement significantly strengthens Nestlé’s coffee portfolio in the North American premium roast and ground and portioned coffee business. It also unlocks global expansion in grocery and foodservice for the Starbucks brand, using the global reach of Nestlé.  

Dr. Lopez and the Scientific Advisory’s thought leadership will augment Nellson’s technical expertise in product development and formulation, and will expand the company’s clinical R&D database on established and emerging ingredients in the dietary supplement and functional food industries.
