Company selected Erlanger, Ky., as site for new facility

Archer Daniels Midland Company announced that it has selected Erlanger, Ky., as the site for its new information technology and support center. The center, which will open in the second half of 2015, will be located on the same campus as ADM’s WILD Flavors Erlanger offices.

Golden Peanut Company LLC, a subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland Company, announced that it has acquired the processing facilities and certain assets of the Harrell Nut Company, one of the country’s leading processors and shellers of pecans. Reflecting the company’s continuing expansion of its product portfolio, Golden Peanut also announced that it is changing its name to Golden Peanut and Tree Nuts.

Archer Daniels Midland Company, Chicago, completed its acquisition of WILD Flavors GmbH and announced plans for a new a reportable segment, WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients, beginning Jan. 1, 2015.
One of the fears surrounding the efforts to reignite the troubled economy has been a rise in inflation, and with steady increases in commodity prices, it was only a matter of time before those prices were passed on to the consumer.
Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) reported third-quarter net earnings of $578 million and quarterly segment operating profit of $1.0 billion for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, up $157 million and $310 million, respectively, from the same period one year earlier.
