With a combination of sesame seeds, salt, poppy seeds, dried garlic and dried onion, SeaPak Everything Bagel Butterfly Shrimp is the latest introduction from the frozen seafood company.

Van Cleve-Talbert grew up around seafood as a family member-employee in The Van Cleve Seafood Co. in Spotsylvania, Va. The company dates back to 2001 when her mom, Shelly, opened a small seafood “shack” to source and sell better quality seafood in the area. From the start, Monica and her sister, Allie, were involved in every step of the business. 

The new Shrimp Sea Pals contain 14g of protein per serving. Wrapped in a crunchy, whole-grain breading, the shrimp sea pals also are a good source of dietary fiber and nutrients and do not contain any artificial preservatives or colors.

The shrimp are dry rubbed with herbs and spices instead of being marinated in a heavy sauce, allowing the quality of shrimp to shine through and maintain its texture. The shrimp is a 31-40 count that is peeled, deveined, with the tail removed.

Preparation is quick and easy – they can be pan-fried or baked in minutes – and all three products are priced between $7.99 and $8.99.

Within the top ten, Shrimp leads the increase jumping three tenths of a pound, followed by Salmon, up by more than two tenths of a pound.   ​​​​​​​

Requiring virtually no prep work, this dippable shrimp cocktail is SeaPak's response to consumer snacking demand, making it a convenient frozen seafood snack. Beginning this month, SeaPak On-the-Go Shrimp Cocktail will now reach consumers nationwide at select Kroger, Walmart and Target stores.  

Handy’s Power Foods contain edamame, spinach, broccoli, lime, scallions, cilantro, sriracha and either Salmon or Shrimp. The products are packed as 12 count - 0.5-ounce bites and 2 count - 3-ounce burgers.

Those dinner recipe searches included such items as chili, meatloaf and lasagna.
