Victory Hemp Foods announced a significant capacity upgrade to meet the demand for its innovative, allergen-free and nutrient-dense food ingredients.
Trusted by multinational brands and manufacturers since 2015, Victory’s products are featured in a wide range of items distributed nationwide through major retail chains. The company’s V-70 protein offers a complete amino acid profile plus micronutrients, while its V-ONE oil provides the ideal balance of omega-3 to omega-6 essential fatty acids. Made using a USPTO-recognized patented system, Victory Hemp Foods employs a minimally processed production method that avoids solvents and added heat, preserving nutrients in the final products.
As consumers become more aware of the link between food and health, the demand for cleaner ingredients continues to rise. Their protein offers unique functional characteristics, making it a solution suitable for a wide range of products—from egg replacement, baked goods and ice cream to nutritional bars and dry blend powders. Victory Hemp Foods’ expansion will provide food manufacturers with a reliable solution to meet their customers' demands by cleaning up their labels, reducing their environmental impact and aligning with Scope III emissions measures, all while offering delicious products packed with real nutrition.
Legacy Rooted in Innovation, Sustainability and Family
Since 2014, Victory Hemp Foods has been dedicated to advancing plant-based nutrition while championing sustainable agricultural practices and producing better food for families. With an established history of utilizing hemp grain as a premium, eco-friendly ingredient, the company continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the food sector.
Victory Hemp Foods’ single-ingredient products, which are manufactured in an SQF facility in Carrollton, KY, are all free from the top nine allergens, non-GMO and Kosher certified to align with evolving consumer demands and ensure the highest levels of safety protocols are afforded in the food ingredient manufacturing industry. As the original developer of hemp heart protein in 2016, the company’s mission has always been to offer innovative, transparent and reliable solutions. This promise has resonated with partners and customers alike.
“Food is at the heart of every family and ensuring that it is nutritious, sustainable and of the highest quality is our top priority,” said Ben Raymond, Vice President of Research & Development at Victory Hemp Foods. “With our expanded capacity, we’re not just scaling production—we’re enabling our partners to bring inventive, wholesome products to market. This is a pivotal moment for our industry and I’m proud that Victory Hemp Foods is leading the way. One of our core values is to do well by doing good, with the aim to make the world a better place.”
Victory Hemp Foods is making a positive impact by offering nutrient-dense, minimally processed ingredients for formulators, CPG brands and their customers. The company is leveraging the market's purchasing power to introduce a high-value crop into crop rotations, creating farm biodiversity and breaking pest and weed cycles. By requiring less than half the fertilizer, crop profitability and ecological outcomes are also small ways the world gets better by growing hemp.
A History of Hemp for Food
Hemp for food has been celebrated for its nutritional benefits for a long time. It had also been a staple in the agricultural landscape of America up until it became embroiled in controversial confusion in the 1930’s.
During World War II, the crop saw a major resurgence when the Department of Defense enlisted the United States Department of Agriculture to encourage farmers to cultivate hemp once more, making it a vital resource for the Naval Fleet. Kentucky served as a major producer for this effort, and when the 2014 farm bill reintroduced hemp to farms with legal clarity, Victory Hemp Foods’ journey began.
The company began working with a handful of farmers in the bluegrass region of Kentucky, processing the first hemp seed harvests on grain processing equipment and selling the products at farmers’ markets and through regional natural foods retailers. That period allowed Victory Hemp Foods to learn what customers liked about their products and where they needed to improve them, eventually developing ingredients from hemp grain to meet the growing consumer demand for high-quality, plant-based food products. As the market has rapidly expanded for their products, the need for Victory Hemp Foods to be a dependable supplier has never been more important, especially in an environment where alternative suppliers often face challenges with availability, quality and transparency.
Launching a Game-Changing Production Line & Measuring Impact
The newly expanded processing line represents a significant technological leap for the company and the state of Kentucky, as the company grows its commitment to sourcing from local farmers. This SQF-certified facility ensures quality control and delivers unmatched capacity and reliability. Its state-of-the-art processing line is engineered to meet increasing market demands, providing customers and partners with a secure and scalable supply chain with the ability to innovate in product development.
By 2030, the company aims to draw upon more than 20,000 acres of sustainable hemp cultivation, generating $18 million annually for local farmers.
“By launching this processing line, we’re providing our partners with scalable, sustainable solutions that meet the growing demand for high-quality, plant-based nutrition,” states Chad Rosen, CEO and Founder of Victory Hemp Foods. “Our commitment to sustainability, quality and collaboration drives everything we do. We’re excited to help food formulators, food manufacturers and brands create the next generation of nutrient dense products from a healthy, thriving supply chain that is on display through our commitments to traceability and transparency.”

Driving Industry Impact and Shaping the Future
This expansion is about more than increased capacity—it is a call to action for partners seeking to elevate their product offerings with natural ingredients. This forward-thinking approach aligns with the broader industry trends toward clean labels, allergen-free applications, plant-based products and sustainable solutions.
The new capabilities open exciting collaboration opportunities with the team to diversify product offerings and test out new applications using V-70 Hemp Heart Protein, V-ONE Hemp Heart Oil, or Shelled Hemp Seeds (Hearts). From baked goods, beverages, snacks, gluten-free items and protein bars to supplements, dips and frozen desserts, if an application can be made with hemp ingredients, the team at Victory Hemp Foods is eager to help manufacturers make it a reality.
