Infusion technology and ingredient supplier Vertosa has appointed Diana Eberlein as chief external affairs officer.
As the current chair of the Coalition for Adult Beverage Alternatives (CABA) and former president of the Cannabis Beverage Association (CBA), Eberlein has advocated for responsible regulation, market expansion and industry collaboration at both state and federal levels.
"This is a critical time for the cannabis industry, and there's no one better suited to help navigate and shape the conversations that will define the next era," said Vertosa CEO Ben Larson. "Diana has been a driving force behind the cannabis beverage movement from the very beginning. By joining forces, we are aligning our collective strengths — Vertosa's science, R&D, marketing power and vast partner network — with Diana's vision and tireless advocacy. Instead of competing for space, we're rowing in the same direction, faster and stronger."
In her new role, Eberlein will focus on progressing federal and state-level conversations, elevating industry standards and accelerating the growth of the cannabis beverage sector.
"I've had the privilege of working alongside passionate leaders and trailblazers for years, and what Vertosa has built is truly unmatched," Eberlein said. "Their impact-driven culture, commitment to science and innovation, and team-wide dedication to driving this industry forward make this an incredibly exciting partnership. I'm thrilled to channel all my efforts into advancing the regulatory and market landscape with Vertosa's full support behind me."
