Tilley Distribution announced that Allison Weir, chief human resources officer, is one of four finalists for the second annual Women in Chemicals Woman of the Year Award. Weir is Tilley’s first female C-suite leader and has made transformative impacts to the organization during her tenure. 

According to Women in Chemicals, “Woman of the Year is someone who goes above & beyond to invest in the retention & future growth of women in the industry, inspires change & advocates for others. Someone who is making an impact to the industry we’re in & those around her.” 

Weir’s accomplishments include establishing Tilley Distribution’s Strategic Pillars which have influenced and reshaped the culture of Tilley, providing professional development opportunities and education for the Tilley workforce, promotion opportunities, strategically recruiting and hiring game-changing personnel who will bring unparalleled expertise to the Tilley Distribution business, and serving as a mentor to female members of leadership in a typically male-dominated industry.
