They include guayusa (Ilex guayusa), for natural energy; yaupon (Ilex vomitoria), another natural energy ingredient; dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), a safe diuretic, prebiotic, and liver support ingredient; lavender (Lavandula spica L.), an adaptogenic ingredient for calm mood; and damiana (Turnera diffusa), a nitric oxide promoter, testosterone booster, and an aphrodisiac. It often is made into a liqueur that promotes fertility. While all are suitable for beverages, they could find great application in better-for-you food products as well.
