Anne Vlahos, vp sales, for PROVA Inc., announced that Kristen Thomas joined the company as midwest sales manager. In this role, Thomas will manage key accounts for PROVA in the Midwest US, as well as develop new accounts within this territory.
Vlahos stated, "We are delighted to have Kristen join our sales team. She is a dynamic, highly motivated individual who brings a wealth of expertise in flavors, ingredients, and processing that, I know, will be valued by her customers. Kristen represents the values of PROVA and I know she will effectively convey our passion and expertise about sweet brown flavors to her Midwest customers."
Prior to joining PROV A, Thomas started her career with extensive flavor profiling of vanilla at Bush Boake Allen, Inc. For the next 10 years, she held several research and development positions at various well-respected companies, including Keebler Co.
In addition, Thomas expanded her expertise to include seasoning blends and antioxidants, working with market leaders such as Naturex Inc. and Griffith. While Thomas most recently represented functional ingredients, she will now pair her sweet and savory knowledge to promote PROVA's vast flavor portfolio.
