Hu announced a new line of grain-free, no-added-added cookies, now available for purchase online now through HuKitchen.com, Amazon, and coming to Sprouts stores nationwide in April.
Hu’s Grain-Free, No Added Sugar Cookies are crispy, mini cookies and come in four nostalgic flavors: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle, and Ginger Snap.
Hu is a pioneer of grain-free foods, dating back to its 2012 founding as a fast-casual restaurant built around the category. Today, the grain-free movement is one of the fastest-growing trends in food, growing 30% year over year, according to a March 2020 SNIPS report. To make cookies that comply with these challenging yet crucial ingredient guardrails, Hu went beyond what is easy and expected, using certified humane, free-range eggs as well as naturally-occurring and less refined ingredients like whole cassava flour instead of refined starch (like tapioca starch). Hu cookies also contain: no added sugar; no sugar alcohols like erythritol; and no stevia.
Hu Cookies retail for $14.99 for three 2.25oz bags or $19.99 for a variety pack of all four flavors.
