Om Mushroom Superfood, a producer of USA-grown, USDA Certified Organic, whole food functional mushroom powders, announced the hiring of Eric Fetty, a CPG operations and supply chain veteran, as the company's new vp of operations.
Fetty, who has overseen supply chain and operations for brands like The Honest Company and Burt's Bees, a division of Clorox, was most recently the vp of manufacturing and cultivation at Caliva, one of the largest vertically-oriented cannabis companies. He has also founded and run an independent supply chain consultancy.
At Caliva, he oversaw an 80% increase in production capacity, while building the company's infrastructure for edible products.
At The Honest Company, he opened a fully automated 600,000 foot retail and ecomm fulfillment center and was responsible for demand & supply planning, sourcing & procurement, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, customer service and portfolio project management.
Fetty went from Plant Manger At Burt's Bees to director of product supply chain in just three years. In addition to supply chain, he also oversaw commercialization of new products at the rate of 50 SKUs per year.
