Officially launched earlier this year, Upshoot announced its 2020 executive team & advisory board that will provide strategic and operational leadership to the healthy lifestyle company, under the guidance of Upshoot's CEO, Lourdes Ahn. Using a social selling business model, the company has already seen an increasing number of people across the United States joining as Upshoot Ambassadors (independent distributors) to earn additional income while helping others eat better and feel healthier through plant-powered nutrition.
Reporting to Ahn, the executive and advisory team members are as follows:
Joe Cross (executive advisor) – Internationally recognized plant-powered nutrition advocate and award-winning filmmaker of the documentary film, "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead."
John Laun (vp of marketing & sales) – Omnichannel marketing strategist and brand growth driver with diversified experience helping turn lifestyle brands into multi-million-dollar household names.
Stacy Kennedy, MPH, RD/LN, CSO (vp of program development) – Board-certified specialist in nutrition and senior clinician at Harvard Medical School Teaching Affiliate hospitals helping companies bridge business development with nutrition science.
Scott Harris (vp of product development) – Expert in food science, ingredient sourcing and consumer experience strategy who led the product innovation for top CPG companies and Fortune 500 brands.
Ruud Rinkel (chief financial officer) – Global business strategist and startup expert who has built profitable organizations through financial strategies and growth initiatives.
Dean Anderson (vp of i.t. & supply chain) – 25+ years' experience leading strategy design and implementation for diverse companies—from startups and CPGs, to Fortune 500 brands and multinationals.
