Nielsen Global Connect announced that veteran marketing leader Jacqueline Woods will join the company as chief marketing officer (CMO) beginning Dec. 1, 2019. In this role, Woods will lead all aspects of global marketing, supporting the company’s transformation into an independent, publicly traded company. As CMO, she will join the company’s executive leadership team and will report to Nielsen Global Connect’s chief commercial officer, Pat Dodd.
Woods joins Nielsen Global Connect from IBM where she was chief marketing officer for the IBM Partner Ecosystem. There, her marketing leadership focused on growing revenue, driving momentum in Cloud and AI technologies, and SaaS technology strategies to accelerate growth. By using client-centric data and analytics, she was able to help IBM and its partners significantly improve ROI and increase value to clients.
As a transformational leader in brand, content and digital marketing, Woods brings to Nielsen over two decades of experience. Prior to her role as CMO within IBM’s Partner Ecosystem business, Woods served as CMO of IBM Global Financing where she led marketing & communications, strategy, and offerings development for IBM’s finance division. Woods is a Merit Fellow from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business where she earned her M.B.A. Woods also studied at the University of California, Davis, where she earned her Bachelor of Science.
