ISC Gums announced that IMCD, a distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, has been appointed its distribution channel to market for its gum acacia products across the United States, effective immediately. ISC Gums is the leading manufacturer of gum acacia products available in organic, non-GMO, kosher and halal.

Established in 1941, ISC Gums continues to invest in its growth with an improved distribution channel, a new European manufacturing facility, key hires in quality control, research and development, production and marketing. Future projects in the pipeline include a new research and development laboratory, new agglomeration technology, additional equipment for spray drying and blending – investments for further growth in North America and throughout the globe.

This new distribution agreement builds upon an existing relationship in the Western United States between ISC Gums and HORN, a company acquired by and soon to be integrated with IMCD. IMCD will represent ISC Gums across multiple industries within its territory including food, nutrition, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, personal care and animal nutrition.
