Chef Earley will be stepping into the role of Corporate Research Chef, where he’ll be working closely with Furmano’s Chef Paul Burkholder, who was recently promoted to Director of New Product Development.
As a part of a new initiative, Furmano’s is renewing its commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and driving future growth. In Chef Earley, the company gains another experienced research chef with expertise in recipe development, new product development and foodservice consultation initiatives.
“We’re extremely excited to add Chef Earley to the Furmano’s family,” said Yvonne Derr, Marketing Manager at Furmano Foods. “Bill has a wealth of experience developing food products and recipes that aligned really well with what we’re trying to accomplish with our new focus.”
Chef Earley is a food industry veteran, with an extensive career that includes a stage at the world-renowned Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago. Earning an Associates Degree of Applied Business in Culinary Arts and Bachelor of Science in Culinary Science from the University of Cincinnati, Chef Earley turned his love of food and restaurant experience into a career of developing innovative, on-trend recipes for a number of well-known CPG companies.
In 2017, Chef Earley won Best New Savory Snack from the Specialty Foods Association. He also developed the best-selling caramel popcorn for a national movie theater chain. His emphasis on organic foods and fresh ideas was a natural fit for this role at Furmano’s.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join Furmano’s,” said Chef Earley. “Through our conversations, I quickly realized that we have similar philosophies on food, and my experience matched exactly what they wanted. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can create together.”
In addition to his development roles, Chef Earley will also be a fixture at industry tradeshows, leading demos and seminars for foodservice operators and manufacturers. Look for him at the upcoming NRA and NACUFS shows as well as others in the future.
