Simplicity reigned supreme among new food and beverage products launched in September 2018. Prepared Foods readers selected Barilla One-Ingredient Legume Pastas as their favorite product launch in our monthly Favorite Products Poll. The product garnered 29% of the vote, topping Pressery Ramen with Fresh Broth-Based Kits which came away with 24% of the vote. Rounding out the field was Halen Brands Joyfuls which attracted 15% of voting readers.

Barilla One-Ingredient Legume Pastas are made with chickpeas or red lentils. Barilla leveraged its more than 140 years of experience to create a pasta with a unique taste and "al dente" texture.
