Go Big™, a new, large low fat yogurt pouch from Yoplait®, is now available in supermarkets and mass merchandisers across the country. Similar to Yoplait’s popular Go-GURT® line, Go Big offers portable yogurt for busy families with one big difference: Go Big was created alongside real teens to better fit their active lifestyles and needs.
Inspired by real teens and their parents, Go Big’s portable pouches are bigger than Go-GURT tubes, containing a satisfying four ounces of yogurt in each individual pouch (that’s twice the size of Go-GURT tubes). The new product is also easy to open, featuring “grip-and-rip” packaging that tears along a perforated edge.
Furthering Yoplait’s commitment to creating great-tasting yogurt everyone in the family can enjoy, Yoplait worked with dozens of teens from across the country to develop Go Big – asking for their input at all stages in the product development process.
“We’re always listening to our consumers, and we heard over and over that while there are plenty of yogurt lines that speak to parents or kids, no yogurt was made just for teens,” said Betsy Frost, Business Unit Director at General Mills. “Go Big was developed to fit into the busy lifestyles of today’s teens who are looking for a snack that is portable and convenient, and that they can eat single-handedly, as they single-handedly crush everything life throws at them.”
Now available nationwide in the yogurt aisle, Go Big yogurt is made with pieces of real fruit and is gluten free. Go Big also contains no high fructose corn syrup, and has no colors from artificial sources.
Go Big is sold in boxes of eight yogurt pouches, or by the individual pouch in select retailers, and is available in four fruit-forward flavors: Strawberry, Mixed Berry, Cherry and Peach Mango. The new product retails for $4.99.
