Southern California McDonald's is spicing up its summer menu and giving customers more of what they want with the addition of Signature Sriracha to its Signature Crafted recipes. Featuring new ingredients and flavors, like an exclusive Sriracha Big Mac special sauce and crispy onions, the sandwich is available at more than 600 restaurants across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
In addition to the spicy Sriracha and Big Mac sauce blend, the freshly prepared Signature Sriracha sandwich includes crispy onions, white cheddar, spinach, kale and tomato. The new sandwich option fulfills customers' desires for a bold, spicy summer sandwich. The Signature Crafted recipes, first introduced late last year as Taste Crafted Burgers & Chicken, lets customers pair their favorite protein and bun with four flavor profiles: the new Signature Sriracha, Pico Guacamole, Maple Bacon Dijon and Deluxe.
Guests can choose from quality protein options including a 100% pure beef patty with no fillers; Buttermilk Crispy Chicken made with real buttermilk in the breading; and Artisan Grilled Chicken made with 100% chicken breast filet that contains no artificial preservatives. After selecting the perfect protein, guests can choose between the artisan roll, sesame seed bun or the new potato bun.
"Summer is about enjoying delicious, bold flavors and we are kicking off the season by adding the popular Sriracha flavor to the menu," said Clay Paschen III, president, McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California. "Blended with our Big Mac special sauce, we hope the addition of the Signature Sriracha Recipe will give guests a new way to enjoy their favorite sandwiches."
