DairyChem Laboratories Inc. announced the acquisition of Ingretec Limited. Ingretec manufactures cheese flavoring, dairy flavoring, fillings for pastry and bakeries. The key focus of Ingretec is its cheese manufacturing operation that has excelled in creating flavors that have made their way into retail markets around the world. Phillipe Jallon, President of Ingretec, started the venture. Jallon has spent 50 years developing unique and versatile cheese and dairy ingredients used worldwide.
The acquisition will add Ingretec Ingredients into the portfolio of DairyChem’s holdings in the food manufacturing sector. DairyChem intends to continue operations in Lebanon, Penn., at its state-of-the-art facility. The current vice president, Valerie Crouse, will remain onboard going forward overlooking day-to-day operations.
DairyChem is a privately held company located in Fishers, Ind. DairyChem offers a wide variety of dairy flavor, enzyme modified cheese and cheese flavorings. The acquisition of Ingretec will diversify the offerings of both companies. Each company will maintain operations as usual. The terms of agreement will remain confidential.
