Old Orchard Brands offers a new way to enjoy this summertime favorite with its new Cherry Limeade and Watermelon Cucumber Lemonade, featuring a 33 percent reduction in sugar while maintaining a full-flavor taste.
Old Orchard's new seasonal flavors are made with real lemon and lime juices to provide a naturally fresh lemonade stand-quality. In addition, they are sweetened with a blend of Truvia® brand stevia leaf extract and real cane sugar to provide 1/3 less sugar compared to traditional lemonade varieties.
Cherry Limeade and Watermelon Cucumber Lemonade are available in convenient 64-ounce multi-serve bottles, with a suggested retail price of $1.99. They can be found in the shelf-stable juice aisle of grocery stores nationwide beginning this month.
"Lemonade is pure summer in liquid form," suggests health expert and Old Orchard consultant Amy Bragagnini, MS RD CSO. "Unfortunately, many lemonade drinks are either high in sugar or sweetened with artificial ingredients so they typically don't make my recommendation list for healthy families. Old Orchard's new line of lemonades feature only real food ingredients and are naturally lower in sugar, so it's my go-to summer lemonade. And they offer great variety---cherry limeade is a favorite with kids and the watermelon cucumber is the perfect adult beverage mixer!"
