Bakkavor, a UK fresh prepared foods manufacturer, acquired B. Robert’s Foods (‘B. Roberts’) for an undisclosed sum. B. Roberts’ is a private label fresh prepared food manufacturer based in Charlotte, NC.

The acquisition is in line with Bakkavor’s strategy for the US to build a growing presence in the fresh prepared food sector. B. Robert’s, which employs approximately 240 people, has been producing high quality, market-leading, innovative convenience foods for US retailers for more than 20 years.
