October 4/Chicago/Chicago Tribune-- Kraft Foods and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store have reached an agreement that will allow the restaurant operator to begin selling its packaged meat products in retail stores.

The line, to be called CB Old Country Store, will include bacon, ham and lunch meats. It will be available at retail starting next week.

Kraft sued to stop Cracker Barrel's retail initiative in Illinois in February, saying the products would create confusion with its Cracker Barrel brand of cheese, introduced in 1957. A judge in July sided with Kraft in the trademark infringement case.

Details of the settlement were not announced.
