October 11/Morton Grove, Ill. -- Lifeway is bringing back its holiday-themed kefir smoothies for the season, with a new flavor addition -- Gingerbread.

The Gingerbread flavor combines ginger, nutmeg and clove, and the new option joins Lifeway's Pumpkin Spice and Cranberry Crème Brulee as part of its holiday collection. Each low-fat kefir smoothie contains 12 live and active cultures, including Lactobacillius Lactis, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Streptococcus Diacetylactis and Bifidobacterium lactis, while also being gluten-free and 99% lactose-free.

The suggested retail price is $3.29 for each 32oz. containers. The holiday-edition kefirs are available through December 2012.
