“Frozen yogurt has regained popularity, as a growing number of health-conscious consumers look for fewer calories and lower-fat options,” said Penny Baker, director of marketing for Ruggles. “We developed two new delicious fruit flavors and brought back two traditional flavors as well.”
Sweet and Tart Strawberry Vanilla features vanilla yogurt and tart strawberry yogurt with strawberries and a strawberry ribbon swirl. Luscious Lemon Bar is lemon frozen yogurt with snickerdoodle cookie pieces and a cream cheese swirl.
Peanut Butter and Chocolate, brought back by popular demand, features chocolate frozen yogurt with a creamy peanut butter swirl. Butter Pecan, also a returning favorite flavor, offers creamy butter pecan frozen yogurt with roasted pecans.
All four flavors are a good source of calcium and contain live and active cultures for digestive health. They are also low in fat and sodium. As with all Ruggles treats, the new frozen yogurt products are Kosher-approved.
The four new Ruggles Premium Churned Frozen Yogurt flavors are available in grocers’ freezers in 1.75-quart containers with a suggested retail price of $5.29-$5.99.
