November 16/Marshfield, Wis./Wisconsin Ag Connection -- Meister Cheese has hired a new vice present for sales and marketing. Al Steinhauer will be responsible for expanding overall national sales and promotion of the Käse Meister label. Honoring the heritage of the company, this cheese line includes the signature Eagle Cave Reserve Clothbound Cheddar, handcrafted and cave aged in the tradition of the original Meister cheesemakers.

"We are excited to welcome Al Steinhauer to our team. With increased product demand and the completion of our new facility, his experience and energy will add more capacity to our growing company," said Meister Cheese CEO Scott Meister.

Steinhauer was born into the dairy industry, dating back to his family roots with the Madison Dairy Produce Company. In his work at Meister Cheese Company, Steinhauer will be dedicated to managing key relationships and growing sales.
