April 5/Alpharetta, Ga./Golden Peanut Co. Press Release -- Golden Peanut Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), announced new appointments for Joe Campbell and Bob Parker.

“Golden Peanut Company has realigned team members to increase the efficiency of our procurement process, add greater clarity to responsibilities and accountability, and help us serve farmers and buying points more effectively,” said James W. Dorsett, president and CEO, Golden Peanut Company. “These changes will also help align our environmental and safety systems and practices with those of ADM.”

Joe Campbell has been named vice president, Procurement, and reports to Dorsett. In this role, Campbell oversees domestic procurement operations in the Southeast, Southwest and Virginia-Carolina regions. Campbell previously served as regional manager, Procurement, for the Southeast and Virginia-Carolina region. Campbell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture from the University of Georgia. 

Bob Parker has been named vice president, Industry Relations and Seed, and reports to Dorsett.  In this newly created role, Parker uses his extensive experience and knowledge of the peanut industry to help develop Golden Peanut Company’s seed initiatives and to lead the company’s participation in industry associations. Parker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from the University of Georgia.
