March 17/FinancialWire -- Snack maker Lance Inc. said it bought privately held Brent & Sam's Inc., which makes gourmet cookies. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lance said the purchase was funded with a draw under its existing credit facility. Lance shares rose 15 cents to $17.82 in electronic after-hours trading. During regular trading, the shares fell 59 cents, or 3.2%, to close at $17.67.
