January 17/Russia & CIS Business and Financial Newswire -- Mikhail Albu has been made president of SUN InBev, the company told Interfax.

Former company president Josef Strella became chairman of the board of directors.

A SUN InBev representative said both appointments were made at the start of January.

OJSC SUN InBev, which was known as SUN Interbrew until 2007, represents the interest of the international brewing company InBev by uniting its Russian assets. InBev currently owns eight breweries in Russia and three breweries in Ukraine. According to expert estimates, InBev is the second leading beer brewing company in Russia and first in the Ukrainian market.
