Connor received her training and practice in descriptive sensory and various sensory methodologies at The NutraSweet Co., Mount Prospect, IL. For the past 10 years, she has been senior project scientist for Unilever Home and Personal Care in Rolling Meadows, IL. There, she participated in a task force charged with defining, driving and adjusting the brand innovation strategy for Rexona for Men deodorant.
She led the subsequent global consumer technical insight program for the Rexona for Men antiperspirant category. At Unilever, Connor honed her statistical interpretation skills and learned how the insights could drive business decisions. She also worked at Helene Curtis Clinical, Salon and Sensory Center, building a panelist database of over 10,000 consumers.
Connor is a graduate of Loyola University (Chicago), formerly Mundelein College. She is a member of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), Committee E-18 (Sensory Evaluation of Materials and Products).
