Dream Foods (Philadelphia) is introducing several premium juice products in the U.S. Volcano Orange Juice is made from the juice of rare blood red oranges harvested in Sicily near the Mt. Etna volcano. The organic product is not from concentrate and is high in vitamin C, potassium and antioxidants.
Another of the company's recent introductions is a pure lemon juice, intended for use as a mixer, which contains pure lemon oil in the cap to provide an extra zest of real lemon. Volcano Lemon Burst is not from concentrate and comes packaged in a lemon-shaped squeeze bottle. Also making advancements in the premium juice sector is Bakersfield, Calif.-based Wm. Bolthouse Farms, which recently added a Passion Fruit Apple Carrot Juice to its lineup. An all-natural, 100% juice, this fruit and vegetable combination follows the rest of the line, which includes an Orange Tomato variety as well. A 1L chilled container retails for $2.99.
