Del Monte Foods Company announced that Tim Cole has joined the company as executive vice president of sales, reporting to Richard G. Wolford, chairman and CEO of Del Monte Foods.

Tim was with The Quaker Oats Company, now a unit of PepsiCo Inc. for 25 years, in a series of assignments with increasing responsibility. Recently, he was vice president of National Accounts for the U.S., directing $3 billion in U.S. sales of all Quaker Brands including Gatorade.

"Tim will be a great addition to the Del Monte team," said Wolford. He has significant experience leading a large sales organization and growing business with key national retail accounts, says Del Monte. "His knowledge and experience are expected to play an important role in our future success."
