Juice manufacturers are getting in on the organic market. Apple & Eve (Roslyn, N.Y.) is offering an Organics sub-brand of 100% juices, available in four varieties like Vintage Concord and Cranberry Blueberry. The company's products are endorsed as organic by QAI. While organics often are perceived as more expensive than regular juices, the company says the product is affordably priced; it retails for between $2.79 and $3.99.
Also entering the organic juice market is Nantucket Nectars (Cadbury-Schweppes—Stamford, Conn.), which makes sense, as the brand has always touted its home-grown roots and natural goodness. The brand is launching several organic juice blends, such as Banana Mango Carrot, Cloudy Apple, Very Raspberry, and Pomegranate Pear.
